Honor Magic V Slim, the company’s first outward-folding smartphone that was approved in China:
The Honor Magic V2 foldable phone was just released by Honor in China. The company has previously released the Honor Magic Vs and Magic V foldable phones in addition to the Magic V2. Up until this point, all of Honor’s foldable phones have had an inward folding design. The company may be developing its first foldable phone with an outward folding design, according to a recent development.
An Honor smartphone with the model number VCA-AN00 has surfaced in China’s MIIT certification database, as seen in the screenshot below. The device’s internal codename, “Victoria,” is represented by the acronym “VCA,” according to information from a Chinese leaker.
When it hits the market, the device might be known as the Honor Magic V Slim, according to a prior leak. In October of this year, the device is anticipated to surface.
Notably, there are few options available on the market for smartphones with an outward folding design. In actuality, no other significant Chinese smartphone manufacturers—aside from Huawei—have released a product with this particular folding mechanism. As of May 2022, the most recent example of a smartphone with an outward folding design is Huawei’s Mate Xs 2.
The Honor 100 GT and the Honor X50 GT are two additional smartphones that the company may release, according to earlier reports. These gadgets are anticipated to replace the Honor 80 GT and Honor X40 GT from the previous year.
